Because cancer can affect many things, but it will never touch your mind, your heart, or your warrior soul.
That's where it started, and we haven't moved from it. Today we also collect toys in December and school supplies when classes start, for the island families who need them.
Why we do it
Because INKaholic was born here.
People sometimes ask why a tattoo studio gets involved in things that have nothing to do with tattoos.
Many of us know what it feels like to struggle. Some of us have experienced days when there wasn’t enough food at home. That stays with you.
And now that this business gives us the opportunity to help, part of our growth finds its way back into the community that helped us grow.

How we do it
We are not a foundation. There is no huge budget and no large sponsors behind these projects.
Most of what you see is funded directly by INKaholic. Our artists and team contribute too, and sometimes friends, clients and other local business owners join us.
Once a month we buy groceries and basic necessities and deliver them to local families in person. Other projects simply begin when we see a need and realize there is something we can do.
Sometimes it’s something big. Most of the time, it isn’t. Because helping doesn’t have to be big to matter.

We don’t constantly ask for donations because we believe our responsibility comes first. But if you would like to be part of what we do, contact us and we’ll tell you what we’re working on.

We share these moments not to say “look what we did,” but to show what we can do together and hopefully inspire someone else to help in their own way.
We don’t need to change the entire world. Sometimes changing someone’s day, helping one family breathe a little easier, or giving one child a memory they’ll never forget is enough.
As INKaholic grows, we want our ability to give back to grow with it.

Cancer support
Direct support for patients from Isla Mujeres and their families: trips to Cancún, medical tests, and whatever else is needed during treatment.
Toys in December
A year-end drive so no kid on the island goes without a toy. You can drop one off at the studio.
School supplies
Backpacks, notebooks and supplies for back-to-school, handed out to the families who need them most.
